Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Player Reviews
The Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Player is a premium Blu-ray Disc player aimed at discerning home cinema fans. Finished in sleek black, it's a triumph of design and technological know-how!
The Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Player is equipped with an SD memory card slot for effortless viewing of photos or videos on the card. You can also enjoy mp3 music by simply connecting a USB hard drive or copying the music files to an SD card. YouTube videos and Picasa photos are but a click away thanks to the VIERA CAST function and the incorporated Ethernet port for internet connectivity. Who said high-tech had to be inconvenient?

Chose this player as not many of them have a slot for your photo memory card and another thing which was very important to me was the fact that this player plays DVD ram. I have a lot of my videos recorded onto DVD ram and there are not many blu ray players with this function. Quality of picture is very very good and I am very pleased with my purchase and the price was good too so I am one happy bunny. Set up was amazingly easy I did it myself and it took a couple of minutes.

Surround sound is great through my Panasonic 5.1 Home Theatre system - even though it is designed for a 7.1 system - (NOTE: I had to adjust the audio settings output to play through the Optical Cable connector though - very easy to do in the Set Up menu).Remote also operated my VHS/DVD system but that was easily solved by changing the 'Remote' to operate on a different output (Again, very easy to do in the Set Up menu).Very pleased indeed.

This is an amazing player. The depth and quality of picture is outstanding ! Even playing DVD's it upscales superbly !
I bought this for my bedroom as I have the DMP BD35 in my lounge, think I'll swap them around as this new model is better.

I have had this blu ray player for over a month now and rate very highly, picture quality is excellent in the blu ray and dvd playback is improved greatly, easy to use and pleasing on the eye,
it does take a bit longer to load than other players but that is soon forgotten when the film starts,
highly recommend and a good price for a blu ray player of quality

My first Blu-Ray player and after reading about (probably dozens of) different models I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.
It's a compact unit, easy to use, puts out a superb picture (with Blu-Ray and DVD) and thanks to the VIERA link integrates with my Panasonic plasma quite nicely. I don't have a surround setup (yet) so can't comment on the sound.
There may be cheaper players around, but the BD60 oozes quality and you'd be foolish not to consider it.
